ISTOP triages

• Should be sent every time HCS is searched. 
• These need to be done EVERY time a Schedule II, III and IV prescribed.

Creating ISTOP triage:

• Search patient in ISTOP/HCS 
• Go to Medent 
• Go to patient’s chart 
• Create triage 
• Change Reason Code 

• It will auto generate the subject line and automatically attach the HCS website

• Copy the Reference # from ISTOP/ HCS and paste into triage
• Send triage to provider so they can see and verify, 

• If you are the provider, you can close out triage.
