Medent Mobile Accounts settings can now be changed on a Master Level instead of Personal Log ins.
Entering a new patient
Choose “Chart Lookup” option on the Main Menu page
On the top chose “Create New Account”
Enter patient First, Last Name and DOB. Then choose provider at the bottom (if you know who the provider will be at Time of Service).
Scheduling an Apt
Technically you cannot schedule an apt through Medent Mobile but you can create an E Superbill that will show up on the Providers Chart Central for the DOS. It however will not have an apt note associated with it.
Click on the Chart Central (Today’s Chart) for the Provider that you want to schedule on Medent Mobile.
If the apt is in the future, click Choose Date on the top bar and go to the date the patient will be seen on.
Click on the Actions button on the top bar. This will bring up a drop-down Menu.
Choose ADD ESB.
This will bring up the patient look up screen. Either look up the patient (if they currently exist in Medent), if they do not exist then click Create New Account button on the top bar and add the patient. (See instructions above)
In ESB page, fill in the areas for Location and Provider. **This is very important** If you do not enter the location and provider the apt will not show up on True Medent Chart Central.
Now this will NOT create an Apt in the patient apt history, but will at least put the patient on the schedule (place holder). The missing apt can then be added when the patient arrives at the office and fully registers, but this will cause duplicate ESB and the one created through Mobile will have to be errored out.
