Entering a New Patient into Medent

Under Practice Management Click Patient Info 

On the patient information screen (where you look up a patient chart), hit enter on the keyboard. Please make sure you are only on the patient info screen, the other patient look up screens will not be able to start a new registration.  

This will take you to the patient demographic screen.  Enter in the following information in the respective fields: 

Patient first and last name. 

Address

DOB

Gender

Telephone #

You will also need to enter on the right hand side of the screen:

Provider as the Provider they will be seeing

Sheridan Drive for location (1)

The referring doctor, which you can enter as the provider they are seeing.
